My First Design on a T-Shirt

Hello everyone! For starters, let me introduce myself. My name is Jeremy Stacho and I live In Rochester Michigan. For as far back as I can remember, I always liked to draw. No matter the materials, I was always scribbling on something. As I got older, I developed and pushed my skills and i'm still learning to this day new things. I also like to work in a wide variety of materials from simple pencil drawings to oil pastels and everything in between. Last year I graduated from High School and although I would of liked to go to an art school, I wasn't necessarily ready for it, let alone did I have the funds. Lately I've been working full time and even though the pays good, its just not getting me to where I need to be saving for some school classes. That's when this idea to come up to sell some of my original art on some T's for you to enjoy pop'd into my head. I figured this way, not only can I make some money for college funds, I could also set up and widen my portfolio. Below are some pictures of the process of how I achieved the design to a shirt:

First I drew up the design on a 14x17 sheet of paper, then I traced my pencil lines with a fine black marker. I then had multiple copies made of the master print so I wouldn't ruin it and could later do various colors if i so chose to.

Next I proceeded to color it in using just a regular red marker being very careful to stay in the lines at all times. It came out looking something like this

Finally, I took it to a nearby T shirt screening shop and had them throw the design on for me, and I think it turned out great!

I didn't want to go for the standard design in the middle of the shirt as I felt you see that all the time and I wanted this to stand out a little more. Give it that little bit of "Flare" In the end, I'm completely satisfied with the end product and with that, I want to start to offer that to you, but more on that later, for now, enjoy the other 2 color variations I came up with! Thanks for reading!
